Chapter 04 deals with the subject of dosing technology. The general requirements for dosing technology in machine dishwashing are highlighted and different dosing methods are presented. The remainder of the chapter describes the various modes of operation of dosing equipment, starting with manual dosing and extending to automatic dosing equipment for liquid or solid products. Central metering stations or systems are also discussed in this chapter. At the end of the chapter, the operator tasks are described briefly and succinctly.
